"Do you know about the occult?" Seth asked Taff with a straight expression on his face. With a keen gaze, he wasn't going to let anything pass him by. Seth watched Taff closely and he knew Taff was watching him in return. 

Unexpected,  Taff thought. He hadn't expected the prince to ask about this subject. He'd already talked about the supernatural and Sir Taff thought that was about it. Taff just wanted to know why the prince was aski g him about the occult. 

He couldn't have heard anything, right? Taff thought.

"Are you thinking about a response to give to me?" Seth asked. "That was a simple question, in my opinion, Sir Taff," Seth said.

"I wouldn't call anything about the occult simple," Taff replied.

"Oh?"  So he knows about the occult then? Seth thought.
