The queen had a look like they had caught her redhanded and Ling wondered why. He was not used to seeing her like this. Zyne always had an air of control around her. Ling sat up straight in his chair and looked at her directly. Her head was bowed and she watched her fingers which such intensity like something was going to come out of them.

"Who is he, My Queen?", Ling finally asked. The silence was not going to take them anywhere, and if he continues keeping quiet, he might not get anything out of the queen. It seemed to Ling like this was the only chance to get the truth out of the queen. He knew how stubborn and firm-hearted she could be, but he thought luck was on his side that day.

Queen Zyne looked up at Ling with a look in her eyes that looked like she was about to plead with him.
