"Answer? What answer?

Direck just smiled. And Leticia frowned.

She felt like the Director she knows knew something that she didn't. It was just that she wasn't sure what it was.

After a while of silence, Hugh who was frustrated as it seems that he was forgotten, spoke in a manner that gained their attention.

"So, what the hell is happening here that the chief needed to request the adventurer's aid?"

Direck turned his head towards Hugh as he answered.

"There's been mysteriously happening in the forest where the people here gathered their woods." Hugh was silent but instead of looking bored he was invested in what Direck was saying. So, he continued, "Do you know about the unique story of this town, Your Grace?"

"What story? And why are you talking about that right now?" Hugh questioned.
