"I've watched a ton of horrors that started in this fashion. Going into a strange building and then all hell broke loose," said Nick as he ensured to stay close to the other three. He knew if anyone were to die, it would surely be him.
Shaun—"If you haven't noticed, we already are in a horror. Now, remember, don't say anything, let me do the talking. Then we can get the hell out of here."
A young boy who could be no more than ten walked up to them. He was in all-white clothing; his eyes seemed dead and listless, yet he spoke.
"The master is awaiting you in his study."
The boy turned around and walked ahead of them. Shaun and the others could tell there was something off about the whole thing. Everyone they came across acted as though they had no free will—Puppets on a string.
"Shaun?!" Nick called out in fright.
I've had fun writing this novel, but I will be updating my other book The Gods' Decree starting tomorrow. I haven't updated it because of writer's block and now feel it's time to return to those loyal readers.
Not stopping the general updates for this but it will not always be daily. If you are a generous contributor and wish the updates to continue every day. Please contribute 5000 gifts or an accumulation of 5000 and I'll make it happen.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
