章節 101: 'Rely On Me'

Trish intently stared at Tristan until he fell asleep. She then glanced in the maids' direction. "What happened?"

"We're not sure, ma'am. We just heard him shouting all of a sudden, so we rushed to him," the maid on the left told Trish.

"He was already on the floor ma'am when we came. He was screaming your name. I guess, he wanted your help," the second maid— who was seated beside Tristan's bed— remarked.

Trish's brows knitted in worry and reached for Tristan's hand. She felt guilty, she actually didn't hear him. If it wasn't for the maid who knocked so briskly, she wouldn't know.

Trish's tear fell from her left eye. Then soon after, a series of tears were soaking her cheeks. "I'm sorry, Tristan. I'm sorry."

She bowed, leaning her forehead to the back of his hand. "I didn't hear you. I'm sorry I didn't come quickly."

As she lifted her head, Trish halted when her eyes landed on the whiteboard again.

'Just what were you doing, Tristan?', she thought while staring at the board.
