His thoughts drifted as he remembered Amber's crying earlier. Yes. He was awake. He did hear everything; her sobs, her whimpering, he heard them all. Even the cold hand and gentle fingers of her that were caressing his hair, he sensed it. Hence, he felt strange. He wasn't sure what was going on but, he knew it was something serious. It was obvious.
Was it really because she missed Summer? Or was it something else? Was it a family misunderstanding?
Tristan just took a deep sigh and fixed the coat to completely cover her.
'Amber. What are you sorry for?', he thought.

Trish immediately opened the door as they arrived at around 2 am.
"Where have—" Trish's eyes widened as she saw Amber, sleeping on the back of Tristan. "What's wrong with her?"
"She's drunk. I don't think I should bring her to her place so, I brought her here instead." Tristan responded as he walked to the living room. "Is the guest room clean?"
