章節 121: Training Stallions make ladies Hot and Bothered....

I'm Here!
I'm starting to realise how hard it is to make new chapters for me recently. With the new school year starting at my academy and with me feeling slightly burned out, I'm worried that I might slow down even more... I don't really know how I'm going to feel later but just wanted to say that I'll try to post at least once a weak. Don't worry. I really want to push this story to a finish I would be satisfied with so I won't stop. ;)

His mane fluttered in the passing wind as he dodged the rapidly accelerating sphere. Had he not avoided it, he might have received a concussion, his magic barriers notwithstanding...
He didn't stop though, as more of those spheres detached from the walls, ready to pummel him and end his training prematurely.
His eyes darted around the obstacle course. There wasn't much he could do, because from the three different paths he could take, only one wouldn't lead to an immediate collision.
He subconsciously dodged another sphere with his honed instincts, and focused on the soles of his hooves. His magic listened to his command, and without waiting for it to take effect, the Stallion jumped towards the cloudy platforms, a dozen flying spheres missing him by a hair's breadth.
The magic in his hooves let him step on the fluffy surface of the clouds just like a Pegasus, and giving him a temporary boost in strength to make an especially difficult jump.
Behind a glass in an observatory room, a sextet of mares watched everything with a varying degrees of excitement and fear.
"Did you see that! He didn't even see that ball when he dodged it!" Exclaimed Rainbow Dash with her eyes sparkling, never leaving the Stallion in question.
"I'm more amazed with the ease with which he used both Earth Pony and Pegasi magic in his hooves to make that jump on the clouds." Twilight said, writing something down on a notebook in apparent excitement.
"Oh my...But isn't this dangerous?" Rarity asked, nonetheless never looking away from the handsome Stallion, while rubbing her hind-legs together, feeling particularly hot back there for some unspecified reason...
"I-I Can't watch this..." Fluttershy squealed in worry, hiding her face in her hooves.
"Don't fret Sugarcube! Starfall's gonna be just fine!" Applejack reassured the worried mare.
She personally wanted to be there on that track and try herself with all these gimmicks, but she knew her limits and understood that she wouldn't last even a few minutes... She'd have to ask Starfall to make her a personalised training track later. It would be a great training for the rodeo...
Her gaze swept over Rainbow who seemed as eager as her to try herself...Maybe they could train together...
Suddenly the doors to the Observation Room opened and a few new Mares walked inside.
"Hey Girls! We were looking everywhere for you! Watcha do...ing..."Little Strongheart lost her composure as her eyes fell on the figure of Starfall performing an incredible stunt over a speeding rubber ball, dodging it in the air with a back-flip.
The other mares that consisted of Meena and Celestia also stopped in their tracks as they watched the spectacle.
"Woah..."Meena gasped lost for words, quickly joining everypony in watching the spectacle.
"Impressive..." Celestia said a bit more composed but still very impressed.
"Princess!"Twilight gasped noticing Celestia who chuckled hearing her old student calling her like that.
"It's Tia to you Twily. have you forgotten that I'm to be one of your sisters when a certain somepony finally gets to ask us for our hooves?" Celestia said offhoofedly making everypony who heard her blush at the idea.
Twilight was also blushing profusely but she nonetheless walked over to the Princess and gave her a short hug.
"How is Canterlot?" She asked with a smile, leading Celestia towards the window.
"Exhausting..." The Princess laughed and continued. "I had been impatiently waiting for a little break. Thankfully Luna and Midnight agreed to share some of my duties in addition to their own. I almost envy Luna for getting herself a new sister that can split all their work between them..." She said a bit awkwardly.
"But she's also your sister right?" Twilight asked a bit worried that Celestia wasn't happy with the new sister she got recently...
"Oh yes! Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with Midnight. We've had a lot of talks together and I honestly don't see her much differently from Luna. I just sometimes wish I also had an evil twin that we could resocialise Haha!" Celestia laughed merrily causing Twilight to stumble and look at her weirdly.
"Prin-Tia...You know that Daybreaker couldn't be saved, right? She wasn't like Nightmare Moon and didn't form a separate consciousness..." Twilight asked slowly and Celestia's expression fell.
"sigh...I know...But maybe one day we could...Ehh no matter..." Celestia dropped the topic and Twilight accepted it as the end of the discussion, leading the two to focus back on the crotch watering stallion behind the window...
Nopony noticed a little spark or red energy jump over Tia's Cutie Mark because of how tiny it was...

In Canterlot, a pair of Sisters sat on their Throne's looking bored out of their minds while listening to the Ponies making their complaints or pleas...
They exchanged looks between eachother and a spark of understanding went between them.
'How did Tia manage to survive a thousand years with all those Ponies getting on her head for the littlest of problems?!...'

A wall extended upward blocking his path and leaving Starfall to the mercy of the rapidly accelerating rubber balls. The stallion looked around quickly and seeing no way out, he decided to make one himself.
His eyes lit up with magic similar yet different from his usual mage sight, and the walls around him suddenly became transparent.
Seeing the correct way reveal itself for him, he willed his magic to infuse within body and made himself ethereal. It was a nifty spell that he totally didn't stole from his favourite game In his previous life...
The balls passed through his immaterial body as if he wasn't there, but he didn't pay it any mind as he jumped through the solid wall and emerged on the other side to continue running...only to quickly stop in his tracks when a barrier made of lighting sprung up on his face and burned him slightly despite his supposedly invulnerable state...
'Note to self, energy based attacks still damage me in the ethereal state...' He thought while rubbing his nose, back in his normal form.
He looked at the barrier and without much preparation took control of the electricity with a variant of lightning redirection spell of his making.
The electrical arcs passed over his body harmlessly as he emerged on the other side and continued running.
He could have just used teleportation, but what would be the challenge if he could simply appear on the finish line...
His gaze fell on a red button. It was the finish line, and the only thing that separated them was the pond of "lava" filled with traps that waited underneath the surface.
The "lava" in question wasn't really hot as it was just water made to look dangerous through a mix of special effects and illusions, but he would still end up in failure in case of falling into it...
Though the visual effect was doing its job...
Soon, a heat resistance spell had been cast for the sake of training, and he was off...

"Woah! Is he going to run over the lava!? He's going to get hurt!" Exclaimed Meena while Fluttershy squealed higher in worry.
"Don't worry girls. Starfall is too awesome to fail like that! Just watch!" Rainbow said completely certain that Starfall would be alright.

It wasn't easy... With the bubbling "lava" under his feet and the occasional traps triggering wherever he stepped, Starfall had to really spread his focus thin.
Between stepping on not necessarily stable rocks, to casting liquid step in order to literally run on the "lava", Or making double jumps and aerial movements by utilising barriers or the same rubber ball that were still trying to pummel him, Starfall had on multiple occasions almost fell...
But the greatest danger had befallen him when a shudder came through his entire body right as he was about to jump from another quickly sinking rock.
It was his magical "hiccup" once again showing itself to him!
He didn't hear the gasps in the observation room when the suddenly dispelled magical platform almost had Starfall plummet into the "lava".
Thankfully, he quickly managed to regain his composure by wrapping a whip of magic over a fake stalactite at the ceiling of the room and swinging himself even closer to the finish line.
It was a training day well spend...

Somewhere in Ponyville by the market, a duo of fillies walked alongside eachother talking animatedly...or at least one of them did, while the other listened with a slightly mixed expression.
"Do you think he's going to like it Spoon?! Maybe I should get a bow? Would a pink bow be good?! O-Or maybe Purple! Yes! I heard he loves purple!" The young filly said with her eyes looking dreamily into space and her expression happy as she walked down the street in her newest cute dress.
Silver Spoon looked at her long time best friend with a slightly sorry expression.
"Tiara...You do realise that..." She looked at her friend, ready to say something to dissuade her from what she felt was an useless endeavour, but seeing how happy the idea made her, she couldn't make herself say it...
"That...uhh...Yes.... It is his favourite colour.... I'm sure he's going to like it..." She finally said looking slightly guilty...
Diamond Tiara beamed at her friend in happiness.
She became so much happier since her talk with Starfall... He was the one that completely turned her world around. She hopes he would appreciate he new dress...

Starfall who currently sat in the dining room with his lovely mares, talking about his training, suddenly felt a shudder that had nothing to do with his magic acting up...
