章節 57: The Filly of Apocalypse. Part 1.
//Just watched the Mlp-New generation recently and I had this idea. Though it would be a long time until you see the rest of the sidestory because I need the regular story to progress at least to the second or third season finaleXD//
//Somewhere in the future of an alternative reality//
"Princess. Where should we place the 'Villain Statue'? Would you like to set it up somewhere as a warning for future evildoers?" Asked a construction pony as a crane was transporting the Petrified Statue of the three villains, Cozy Glow, Lord Tirek, and Queen Chrysalis.
Twilight shook her head.
"No, I don't want to rule the kingdom through fear. The statue shall be transported to Tartarus where it shall hopefully stay forever... or untill we deem it ready to try and redeem them...
Somewhere in the crowd, a certain Pegasus heard the order and she couldn't help but feel pain and anger, but also hope...
'Tartarus, huh? Don't worry sweetie! Mommy will get you out, even if it means fighting against the entire world!...'

"Come on dig! We're almost through! Generations of the Glow family worked hard for this day Brother!" Said a young Pegasus to his younger brother as he swung the pickaxe inside his muzzle.
"I'm digging brother! But I still don't get it. Why are we even doing it? The elders won't even tell us why we are doing this. Just that we are trying to save someone who suffered and that she was from our family..." Said the younger Colt.
"Is that so important? I heard that there are supposed to be treasures as well! Let's just dig!"
"Ahh alright..."

"But it's just stone! We spend generations on trying to get inside and it's just a sculpture!" Shouted a young Colt towards an old mare who looked at him with annoyance.
His parents must have done a poor job educating the Colt for him to have such a low opinion and knowledge of the greatest member of the Glow family...Well it didn't matter anymore.
The mare walked towards the sculpture, disregarding the two colt and climbed over their stone bodies to reach the smallest sculpture of a frightened little filly.
"Then she took out a black necklace in the shape of a pony with wings and a horn embedded with a large crimson ruby in the center, from her saddlebag, and placed it on the stone filly's neck.
To everyone's surprise, the filly started to turn back to normal as the energy from the stone passed through her body.
Slowly, the filly stood back onto her hooves and looked around in confusion.
Everypony waited with bated breath but they totally didn't expect what happened next.
The filly slowly started to laugh, and the more she laughed, the more uneasy the ponies became, the crazed look in the eyes of the Filly only making them more worried by the second...

"Did you hear?! Those Glow weirdos from Tartarhoof Forest stopped visiting the town. Some Ponies say that they finally kicked the bucket, but no one seems too eager to check... What do you think happened?" Said a certain Colt as he met up with a friend in their favourite spot.
"I don't know...Maybe some monster attacked them? Who knows what lives in that forest. It's almost as mysterious as the Everfree..." Replied the other surprised with the news.
"Well whatever it is, I'm sure the Princess can take care of it..." Replied the first pony with certainty.
"Well...I wouldn't be so sure...I heard that one of her friends passed away recently. Apparently she's still grieving and I wouldn't want her to go out of her way just to check on a monster that might not even exist in the first place..."
"What! How did I not know about it! tell me more!" Said the pony in surprise...

"Princess Twilight! Sunny Saddles from the Canterlot Press. Would you be willing to give me a minute of your time?!" Asked a periwinkle unicorn mare with a journalist hat and a notepad floating beside her.
The mare in question, Twilight Sparkle, The Princess of friendship and the ruler of all Equestria, surrounded by guards, just smiled seeing the young journalist being completely unfazed by her towering stature and the armoured ponies surrounding her.
"Why of course my dear. what is it you would like to know?" Said the hundreds years old Alicorn, curious of what the pony was about to say.
"Many Ponies were curious...how is it to be the Immortal Ruler of Equestria? And whether our dear Princess is alright after the passage of the Elements of Harmony." Said the Unicorn, and Twilight couldn't help but sigh at the painful memories.
The fact that her friends were no longer among them brought a lot of pain to the Alicorn. With Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Applejack gone and with Fluttershy's ascension to the co-ruler of chaos dimension, and Rarity's surprising draconification, Twilight had almost no remaining friends, and while making new ones was certainly a possibility, it was never the same as it was with the other five.
Even though Fluttershy and Rarity were still alive, their new situation and responsibilities made it hard for all of them to just meet up and chat like in the old times.
Well...At least her regular tea with Flurry Heart and Cadence made her days a bit more manageable...
"That's some hard questions you ask my little pony. and the answer to both of them is similar... Its hard...I'll be honest, It's certainly not an easy job and I know that if it wasn't for my few remaining friend and all the new ones that I made over the years, I might have already crumpled under the pressure. But, forgive the pun, the Magic of Friendship keeps me going." Winked Twilight and Sunny smiled hearing the Princess joking. It seems like she was still the lovable princess that the ponies adored even after all those years...
Sunny thanked the Princess for her time and left the Princess with a smile on her face.
But just as she turned the corner and walked into an alley, her smile turned vicious.
Suddenly a circle of green fire exploded around her, as her body transformed Into a creature that might have once been a pony.
Her coat was pinkish gray with her curly mane in the colour of grayish arctic blue, and her eyes were the color of deep crimson just like her Cutie Mark that resembled a chess piece.
But here's where things turned weird.
She had a pair of red tinted Pegasi wings and a black horn filled with holes between two crooked bull horns that felt out of place on her body, which just like the middle horn had been adorned with holes that shouldn't even allow the pony to function normally.
Her vicious smile turned into the one of maniacal laughter as she spoke to no one in particular with a crazed look in her eyes.
"Magic of Friendship keeps you going, huh? I guess that won't be for long... MWAHAHAHA!"

//Back in our Equestria//
Starfall woke up with a start and looked around worriedly trying to assess his situation.
It was a long time since his last nightmare, because ever since he learned Dream magic, he could freely control what happened after he fell asleep.
His eyes landed on the beautiful Mare with a rainbow coloured mane laying beside him with a content smile, and he suddenly remembered where he was.
'Right...I just claimed Rainbow Dash as mine...' He thought to himself as a smile arose on his face.
He snuggled into her and wrapped his hoof around the sleeping Pegasus to which she subconsciously responded by snuggling into his embrace.
That short interaction though, caused Starfall to forget the reason for his sudden awakening, as he had much more important things to do than worrying about some insignificant nightmare that he already didn't remember...
