'That voice...'
Lin thought as a bead of sweat ran down his face.
Lin was not the only one who was slightly shaken.
Ronald's face had gone slightly pale after hearing Mitsuna talk.
'It is familiar. Recognizable... but from where?'
Lin thought as he slightly frowned and took a step back while holding his sword with both hands.
He tried to remove his sword from Mitsuna's grip but could not as Mitsuna grabbed the sword by the blade with her bare hand, stopping him from retreating any further.
Lin's frown deepened as he suddenly jerked his weapon and sliced up diagonally.
Blood flew and Mitsuna's fingers were cut off entirely.
'Sh*t! That hurts you know!'
Mitsuna took a single nudge back as she controlled her thread and retrieved her fingers from the ground.
Grabbing them, she let go of the shield that was still pressing down on her.
Ronald, the great shield user, felt how his attack would no longer be blocked and, on instinct, pushed the shield at her, the shield knocked against her shoulder and almost made her drop her fingers.
Mitsuna clicked her tongue as she reattached her fingers with hollow ice, waiting for her regeneration to kick in and her fingers to be fully healed.
Mitsuna turned and hit the shield away with her mana-reinforced knee that came from down under.
The sturdy and stupidly heavy shield flew back by half a meter as Ronald caught it and contained the force of Mitsuna's knee attack.
Hearing the sound, Lin made his move as he slashed upward with his sword.
Backstepping the attack, Mitsuna's new hat was cut along with two strands of her hair.
'I just made this!'
Slapping the sword away with her mana-reinforced hand, Mitsuna reapplied the blind debuff on the three.
"That's a pretty sudden attack to try and land on someone who just said hello."
Mitsuna commented.
"Says the monster who attacked us with thread the moment we arrived."
Lin shot back as he retreated next to Sam, who was still just silently standing there without moving.
"Not a monster."
Mitsuna said.
"What?"
"I'm not a monster."
"Why attack us then?"
"I mean... I was farming in this Dungeon, then you guys showed up and started shooting attacks at me."
"What about the thread spears."
"Traps. I use traps. What do you want from me?"
"...oh."
Lin gave up as he stopped trying to argue anymore.
"Then how can you use a monster's skill?"
Ronald intervened.
"Not a monster Skill. I just use mana to make some rope. I trained myself so that the rope could be as thin as possible."
"What's the name of the Skill?"
'Damn. Time to make some sh*t up.'
"[Diverse Thread Creation]."
"I have never heard of that type of Skill."
"And what? You've heard of every other Skill within the System?"
"...no."
"Then your point?"
"Ugh. But why blind us then?"
"It's the way I fight. Only traps couldn't help me solo clear a Dungeon."
"Ah."
Ronald also gave up.
'She makes good points. I guess this is just a misunderstanding made by those newbie adventurers.'
Ronald concluded.
"Well I apologize, it seems that there has been a misunderstanding."
Mitsuna took off her damaged bucket hat and placed it in her [Item Box].
"No problem."
Lin suddenly butted in.
"W-Wait! How do we know that you aren't just a monster capable of speech?"
He yelled as he took a step in front of Sam, seemingly protecting her even though he was blind.
'I really don't want to let them see me... Ughhh.'
"What do you mean? Monsters can't talk. At least as far as I know."
Mitsuna tried to counter.
Ronald slightly narrowed his eyes.
"Many High-Level monsters can speak. You should know that given that you are an Adventurer."
"Not an Adventurer."
Mitsuna made an excuse but was immediately interrupted by Lin.
"Then why farm in a Dungeon then?"
"Simple. Survival of the fittest. If I were weak I could easily be kidnapped or killed. A lone weak girl can be easily taken advantage of."
"Damn. That's true... But we still can't be sure that you aren't a monster. Right, Ronald?"
"Well, that is correct, yes. But she does speak a lot clearer than any other monster I have met."
"Yep. Exactly."
"I still don't believe it."
'Ughh. Was the sword guy always such a pain?'
"What? You want to try touching my body all over or something until you're satisfied? Stubborn pervert c*ck."
Mitsuna accidentally let her tongue slip as what she thought just came out of her mouth as a small mutter which everyone heard.
'Ah. Oops.'
"W-What? N-no! I would never! Why even call me that!"
Sam and Ronald slightly snickered.
Sam, after standing there in silence for quite a while, finally talked.
"Yeah, you can see that she is a human based on her natural hate of Lin."
"Hey!"
"Shut it you two."
Ronald seemed convinced as he placed down his shield.
"Great. Well, I cleared the Dungeon a few moments ago, so I'll take my leave first."
"Is that why this place suddenly got covered in webs?"
"I went all out with the Skill."
Mitsuna shrugged, even though she knew that none of the three could see her.
"Alright. Well, we will take another look around the place and then leave as well. Can you undo the blind effect? We aren't going to be in any conflict anyway."
"Sorry. It's timed."
Mitsuna lied as she stepped around Lin, the swordsman and made her way passed Sam.
"It'll be cleared in a minute. You'll be fine. Literally, no monsters are alive in the dungeon."
She reaffirmed them as she took her leave.
"Bye."
Mitsuna said as she walked off.
"Goodbye."
"Bye."
Ronald and Lin replied as well.
After a second or two, the blind effect wore off and the party could see again.
The party silently looked in the direction Mitsuna had left toward.
All they could see is a slight silhouette of a girl with bright cyan blue hair and a single lock of white hair walking into the darkness where they could no longer see her.
'Couldn't even see her face.'
Lin thought in slight disappointment.
Sam looked at Mitsuna's retreating figure longer than the other two while thinking.
'I've heard a few recorded voice clips, seen her myself from afar even, their backs are similar. That girl has way too much of a resemblance to Mizuki... Thank the Gods I was silent and didn't ask, I feel like I would have died if I did.'
Sam let out a sigh as she made her way to her two party members.
Ronald, after regaining his vision was in deep thought for a moment.
'Some of her statements don't add up. Why isn't she an Adventurer for one? I'd go after her but it would just make these two annoyed at me for not asking that before...'
Ronald silently clicked his tongue while looking at his two party members.
'Eh. I'll just drink the thoughts away at the bar back home.'
They all had their own thoughts and emotions on the matter.
...
Mitsuna left the Dungeon.
'Thank F*****CK!'
She sighed.
'If I hadn't blinded them I would have been screwed!'
Looking back at the Dungeon, she wondered.
'How do Tier 5s get so strong? Maybe a new feature in the System?'
She asked herself, not knowing the answer.
Opening her status, she looked at the notifications that she had neglected.
'Alright. First off, Tier-related stuff.'

'Oh well, at least my Skill page is a little smaller now. That's something and this [Infinite Inventory] should be better anyway so I didn't really lose anything.'
Mitsuna moved on to her upgraded Title.
'Alright, let's see what we got.'

'So I can Upgrade it at any time but the Upgrade quality is based on my achievements. Guess I'll just leave it there until I kill a God or something, heh.'
Mitsuna joked to herself.
'For now. I guess I'll start heading West. Haven't been there yet. Also, serious thought, should probably Upgrade the Title as Late as possible.'
Making her decision, Mitsuna started heading toward the Western Continents.
