The sound of glass crashing filled the room as did Scarlett's scream and the scent of perfume. 

Scarlett felt shock and pain. She looked up just in time to see Clarissa scrunch her nose in disgust. 

" Now, that is just awful. " Clarissa sighed and leaned against the vanity table to watch Scarlett who was a shivering mess on the floor. " I was nice to you but you could not even appreciate that. "

Slowly, anger came into Scarlett's eyes. " You have no right to treat me that way. I will not tolerate it. " she rose to her feet slowly although she still shook badly but this time her anger made the shaking more pronounced. 

Clarissa smiled. " Not tolerate it? What will you do? "
