章節 165: The Parade

The fabric shimmered in the sunlight. "It's just so lovely, Clance. Everything is. There is something Her Majesty wishes to give you." Clancy announced. 

Sissy had no idea what else the Queen could possibly give her. She had just been given a new life along with a beautiful horse. What else could she ask for? she wondered. Clancy made quick work of dressing her in her robes for the celebration. 

A few moments later, Beatrice entered the chamber. She was dressed in her regal attire. A crown made out of blue pearls rested in her braided hair. She wore a cream, satin peplum, floor-length gown with a red sash adorned with metals. Her hands were adorned with white lace gloves and jewels the likes Sissy could only dream about. 

She made sure to do a deep curtsy she learned from one of the maids. 

Beatrice smiled at her. "Are you excited about today?" Beatrice asked, already knowing the answer.
