The kiss was gentle. Beatrice almost didn't feel it. Frederick was looking over his shoulder as if they were schoolchildren, and he was stealing a kiss. She found it endearing. 

"Pardon me, Your Majesty. I could not resist." He told her.

She was still in his strong embrace. She liked the way it felt. She didn't want him to let her go. 

"It's quite alright. I would like if you did it again." She told him with a coy smile on her freshly kissed lips. 

"Y-you would?" He seemed delighted and surprised.

"Yes. I would like that very much." She told him.
