章節 96: The Witch In The Woods

Beatrice looked on as the girl waited a few minutes for the cups to cool. As she waited, she opened the other jars in front of her. Using a small wooden teaspoon, the witch took one scoop from each jar, then placed the ingredients inside a rawhide pouch. Once she was done, she carried it over to Beatrice. She handed her a cup along with the rawhide pouch. Beatrice examined the clay cup, bringing it to her nose. She let the scent waft inside her nostrils. 

"It is Chamomile," The witch informed Beatrice.

Beatrice took a sip to verify her words. It was delicious. It instantly calmed her nerves. She was pleasantly shocked at its instant effect. All of her nerves seem to be slowly dissipating.

  "Does your demon visit you, Your Highness?" The witch asked.
