A week after, Riswan is discharged from the hospital. The village council come to visit him and seen him in a state where he cannot walk they come up with a decision, "we are sorry about what happened to Riswan but leadership must go on you know, so we have decided to appoint a new leader"
Mable gets up in surprise, "what? how could you? my father just had an accident and all you could think about is a new leader, wow this just shows how much you care about my father, your leader"
On the council members who has always been against Riswan's Mr Asim rule gets up to argue against Mable, " listen here child, we care about your father but as at know he is bedridden the village can not be put on hold because he's ill"
Mable defends her father's honour and makes a shocking decision, " I know you haven't liked my father since but let me tell you, am sure you very well remember, that I won the competition two years ago, I put my father in my position and promised to take my position when I was ready so now am telling you that am taking over as village head from my father "
The council head, Mr Amin, tells Mable they will make an announcement to the village at dawn.
At Mark's house, Kel comes back home from a business trip,When he notices how worried his father is,he asks Mark what's troubling him but Mark lies about it. Kel is however not convinced with his father's answer so he asks Anjali about it," mom,I've noticed that father has been so worried do you mind telling me what has been going on in my absence?"
Anjali tells Kel everything and the main reason why his father is so worried. Kel tells his mom he'll talk to Mable and he goes to see her. Kel arrives at the house and insists he must talk to Mable but Tony denies him the chance. Mable tells her brother she'll be fine, she takes Kel to the balcony and gives him a chance to speak," yes, you wanted to talk to me go on I don't have all day "
Kel starts to talk," you look so upset, I've been calling you but you didn't answer. I heard your father was in accident am so sorry. And the other news, you came to my house and accused my father of causing your dad's accident, my love, I know what transpired between our fathers. But my dad can never hurt anyone"
Mable looks at Kel with surprise and claps her hand in amazement, " wow Kel, you are full of surprises, you where with us when your own father himself threatened to kill my father at all costs and here you are supporting him am so disappointed in you. Thank you for wasting my time you may leave or better still I'll leave"
Kel stops Mable and asks why she is in a hurry and is surprised when he finds out his fiancée is taking over from her father's position. At dawn, everyone gathers at the village square, where Mr Amin coronates and announces Mable as the new village head.
