The rooms in Takagi Estate were perfectly clean and prepared for the people. In one of these rooms were three people. The crimson haired princess of the Gremory Family. The child of a fallen angel and a priestess. And Aransae, the Dungeon Master. The king of desires and ghosts, the protector of souls. The Master of Rias Gremory and Akeno Himejima.
Though, in this world, they were three almost ordinary human beings. Aransae sat up in the morning. He rubbed his eyes, "Oh. Hm."
"Master?" Rias looked up.
Aransae held her hair. It was a silky and almost shiny mess that rolled down her back. "Morning, Rias."
The redheaded devil looked away. Her pale cheeks were tinted a faint shade of pink. Akeno smirked. Her black hair and her voluptuous frame were the centre of attention.
"You don't want to sleep anymore, Master?" Akeno's fingers teased his biceps.
Aransae greeted her, "it's Kyoko. She secretly sneaked out to pass a message onto me through a zombie."
"What message?"
"She's losing control," Aransae lay back down. He pursed his lips, "she might get seduced by Aurum and Eve."
"I don't believe that, Master," Akeno giggled, "other than being the Dungeon Master. Even if you gained a body. Every time I touch you...I feel something greater enveloping me. That feeling is so great, it's seductive, addictive. Normal men can't compare to that."
"Aurum isn't normal," Rias only partially agreed to Akeno.
"No, it's not Aurum as much as it's Eve."
"Eve..." a pensive look appeared on Rias's face as she sat up.
"What? Something about Eve that bothers you?"
"She's strange, Master. Haven't you noticed?" Rias looked towards Aransae.
"Strange? Eve? No," Aransae looked towards Akeno, who shrugged.
"That's the thing. Akeno. Eve is the most beautiful in the entire world."
"Ok," Akeno answered in confusion.
"That," Rias gestured towards Akeno, "I saw her. Her beauty in overwhelming. Yet, Akeno isn't even sure about it. To her, Eve is underwhelming. It's as if there is a distortion around her. If you can look through that distortion, then you can glimpse her."
"Otherwise, she's hidden from the eyes of the people. I think...the only one who can see Eve for who she truly is...is Aurum. That's what scares him. He hasn't realised that the world can't see her for what she is. Because, while distorted...she is still immensely beautiful."
"Hm," Aransae blankly stared at Rias, who didn't falter under his gaze, "that explains why Kyoko is wavering. Should I call her back? It might be dangerous letting her stay around Eve. Kyoko was able to overpower the other girls...but this time she might be the one put under control."
Rias tucked her hair behind her ear. She leaned over him, "master, I know I said I would let you experience. Can I suggest something here?"
"Sure. I am all ears."
"Aurum is dangerous. It's best to monitor him. Even if that means losing Kyoko. She won't die. As for regaining control over her...you can do whenever you want."
Aransae turned to his side, "But...she's the closest to cross that bridge. From Apprentice Succubus to Succubus."
"Apprentice? Not Aspiring?"
"They are inherently different. You can Aspire to be a Hero and Villain. For that, you need things like a straight or twisted moral compass," Aransae explained, "Succubus are different. This causes genetic modification. Race transformation. While Aspiring Titles don't grant any power. Apprentice Titles do grant abilities. In her case, Seduction, Hypnosis. That stuff."
Aransae took her palm, "On top of that. She's only about Level 4 or 5. After Level 10, when she reaches 11, she will go from Apprentice to Succubus. That's a game-changer."
"Then Master. You should try to make her reach that Level right now. As long as she gains more strength, she should be able to control them. Hopefully."
"Mm, that sounds good."
"Oh..." Aransae stroked his neck, not understanding what he was seeing, "what is going on...?"
Rias and Akeno exchanged a look, not understanding what he was talking about, "Master?"
"Kyoko, her current level is 9."

The shards of broken glasses slipped through Kyoko's fingers, making the room go silent.
"Kyoko-sensei!" Eve worriedly held her hand, stroking it. Luckily, she didn't get cut, "you don't have to be so nervous."
"I am not...I don't know what happened," Kyoko shook her hand. She felt shaken, worried, tense because she went out and sent a message to her master, "I don't know what happened..."
"I know," Aurum looked towards the crowd gather around his table. He smirked, "Now, what we were talking about."
"My mom! We have to go see my mom! Whoever that man is, he's after my mother!!" Rei stood up around the table. In the morning, they had been discussing what they were going to do. Yesterday, they prepared themselves.
They got the cars, bikes, all the sharp weapons. Hammer, nail guns, shovel, shears. They filled themselves with water bottles and had comfortable but thick clothing. It was at the end of winter. Readying food that didn't need refrigeration. It was the perfect base they could come and go from. The next part of the plan was making checkpoints where they could shift their resources and collect them.
Today, they all sat down to discuss their next action and Rei wanted them to go to her house and take her mother.
"Rei, look around the table," Saeko stopped her from making so much noise, giving her a suggestion.
"What? Why! My mom is the target here!"
"Just give a look."
Rei scrunched up her face in annoyance. She looked around the table. There were her classmates, Saya, Takashi, Hirano, Aurum, Eve and her teachers, Shizuka-sensei, Kyoko-sensei. Her senior Saeko Busujima. And two strangers Irina and Ravel.
"We have about 11 people here. We can divide into two teams. Easily. Aurum, Eve, Hirano, Irina, Ravel, Shizuka-sensei, Kyoko-sensei and I don't have our families. Takashi, you and Saya do," Saeko continued, "Irina is as competent as me. I don't need to say about Aurum. And then there is Hirano with his sharpshooting skills and all the weapons at his disposal."
"As long as we have two people who can fight. It should be enough to keep us safe. There would be more than enough if we divide into two teams."
"Yes! Let's do that!" Rei agreed.
"Rei's house is on the way to mine. We can be in one team. Takashi has to go to the Elementary School. He can go with the other team," Saya followed her.
"Great idea. Let's divide into two teams then."
