Inayah sat in front of the mirror combing her hair. She turned her neck about, feeling some stiffness around it. Jasper entered the room and smiled when he saw her. He walked closer and took the comb from her.

''My beautiful wife'' he muttered as he combed her hair.

Inayah turned her face and looked at him. She stretched her hands at him and asked, ''am I still beautiful even like this?''

''Yes, you are. Why? You don't believe me?'' Jasper held her hands and looked at the greenish veins and smiled, ''this is what makes you beautiful. I am living with a woman who isn't like anyone else''

''You are just saying that to make me feel better. I thought that you would be afraid to get closer to me because of the changes happening to me'' Inayah said and went into a deep daze. She seemed to be thinking about something deeply.

''What are you thinking about? You are not thinking about leaving me, right?''
