Even to a mortal, civilian man, the gross level of danger was apparent, just by the looks of the pitch black, war-torn skies. 

And it was seemingly getting more and more dangerous by the minute with the coming storm.

The skies above were further worsening, roaring with thunderous lightning that threatened to come down upon the earth any moment now.

The portion directly above the dance floor where Riuka and Mua were standing had suddenly broken out in what seemed to be the start of a whirlwind as the clouds seemed to be opening up in a circular pattern right above them!

The winds were starting to pick up around them too, and the raindrops were falling heavier.

Certainly, if there was ever a time to run, now was that time. 

But no matter how much Mua called on Riuka, she seemed unresponsive.
