章節 8: Skin refinement
At the beginning of the absorption he felt an immense pain as his skin was forcefully ripped from his body and a brilliant glow coated the exposed muscles. The white light freaked him out when he started to felt energy pulsing through his body, he didn't know what to do it was as if his body was being forced to use some nutrients/draw in energy just to fuel this metamorphosis that his body had started to go through. He felt like it was being drawn to the white light coating his muscles, it was strengthened slightly and adding a slight scale covered shine to the skin that began forming as the light faded.
After the feeling died down he saw a message box in front of him: '[Your body has made 7.5% progression towards total refined skin]'
He didn't know what that meant but it sounded like he would be all the more powerful because of it so in his book it was good. After a little while of more careful contemplation he decided that nothing bad was going to happen since nothing happened so far.
He continued to eat the orbs like a hyper kid with candy just scarfing them down and after each orb he would meditate for a little bit to understand the best ways to go about strengthening his other parts and to make the best use of each orb that he could. After about three hours he finally stopped, as he ran out of orbs. He felt like his body had finally started to progress down the path of a dragon, he felt a comforting and reliable aura radiating from his skin and started to think that maybe his stats had something to do with a multiplier of human strength, but he didn't get to contemplate the thought of checking his stats popped into his mind. He opened the system immediately with some expectation but not overly and was instantly surprised by his stat increase from just making his skin stronger, maybe it had something with building a better housing for the draconic dna.

Almost all of his stats went up by two, but the thing he was most curious about was his cursed flames and their exp and if it increased at all.

As a true dragon you should have scales as strong as steel and since you have progressed more on your path, so have your abilities. 250 damage.
"Wow my damage just went up by 150 points. I guess tonight when I can go back there I must work harder". John said with a toothy smile, he felt there was no real reason for him to not use his true form while he was all alone. John decided the best way to spend the rest of his day was to practice what he learned from the orbs and try to apply their concepts to other techniques he had. He also cultivated for a while before dinner and he gobbled it down contently before retreat back to the room.
The day went by normally, as he just trained all day only interrupted by bathroom/snack breaks. Which made him leave the cozy shack and kill beasts in the area of his shack. The beasts didn't seem to acknowledge his strength and ownership of the area. This meant that ever time he left the shack he was attacked by the ignorant beasts. Even that's said the attacks began to diminish the more beasts he killed as he would not only devour the beast right where he killed them, but also he began having an aura of death that lingered on his skin. He had decided to leave nearly an hour before he decided to sleep to practice his moves and fighting techniques outside doing some aerial maneuvers and quick changes in direction. He decided there was no time like the present so once he felt that he had refined his skills enough to last until he had gotten a plentiful harvest. Once he finished he slid in to bed and began smirking as it was finally time to go back to those plains. A slaughter unlike an other was about to rain down upon the plains.
