章節 43: Chapter 43: DEVON

I escaped into the woods around the property to get away from my sisters and the other women. I knew this shit was going to happen, and now I'm marooned on this damn island with water on one side and a steep cliff on the other.

The only escape was the thick woods way off on the other side in back of the property. I figured they'd had enough time to turn their minds to something else, so once I'd done some recon I decided to head back.

I had my head down in deep thought, wondering if there was any truth to what the others kept saying, that I was next.

A part of me was excited at the thought that there might be someone out there waiting for me. And then there was the part of me that didn't believe it.

Something, some movement up ahead alerted me. I was about to call out to Dani from my place in the trees but there was something about her movements that tipped me off. "What the hell is she up to?"
