I need clothes. It has been two weeks since I've been here and things had calmed down some. I didn't get the feeling that Ty and the others were on high alert any longer, and that went a long way to making me feel relaxed, maybe too relaxed.
Ty had brought my purse to me only the day before. I'd been so caught up in the newness of our relationship that I had forgotten all about it. I didn't even ask if he'd gone back to that horrid place to get it or if it had been here all along.
The first thing I did was charge my phone when I realized I hadn't spoken to my boss down at the diner and had no idea if I even still had a job. I was more than happy to find out when I called that I did and that they were short staffed. I agreed to start in a couple days.
Ty and the guys had started going back to the construction site even though one or the other of them usually stayed behind, and then there was Davie who was always around these days with school being out.
