"She'll come around, soon," Nik responded while he kept counting and flapping the bills over and again, getting more annoying with time, but he knew he couldn't get her to talk. He wanted to tell her that they were all there for her, but she already knew that. 

He only hoped that everything would be okay, because otherwise, Nik would walk to the Garners and he would finish his mission. He would eliminate Alexander even if Lia would come after him. He didn't care about what happened to him as long as he was happy.

"They're five hundred. that shit won't change no matter how many times you count them" Damien mocked and Mia held back a scoff. 

She loved the way they had all resolved everything. They had been working together for two years now and had managed to make a family out of it. It was hilarious considering Nik allowed everyone to think of him as a brother.
