When Jungkook watched his brother, Jimin, get married to a man he barely knew, he promised himself he wouldn't let the same thing happen to him.

Kim Taehyung set his eyes on Jungkook the moment he saw him at his brother Yoongi's wedding and their father, Jeon Hae-jin, is more than willing to give his son to him, but Jungkook has no intention of marrying for any other reason than love.

A few months before their wedding, Jungkook escapes his bodyguard and runs away.

He has enough money to flee and begin a new life. But staying undetected when the Jo-pok (mob) is searching for him is a challenge that takes everything, especially as one of their best hunters and assassins is after him, his betrothed - Kim Taehyung.

After six months on the run, Jungkook finally settles into a tentative routine, but then Taehyung and a couple of his father's soldiers find him with another man.

Despite Jungkook's pleas, they kill his boyfriend and forced to marry Taehyung, his emotions alternated between guilt over having dragged an innocent into his world and his hatred towards the latter.

Jungkook is determined to make life a living hell for his husband, but Taehyung is a master at mind games and their power struggle soon turns into hate-fueled nights of passion.
