章節 108: Please Don't Go Part 1

Crumpled over the remaining two stories of a dilapidated building that used to tower hundreds of levels taller, Noe and Daniel's limbs twitch sporadically.

Although Noe absorbed the majority of the bolt's destructive power, Daniel's body has been most affected.

Every muscle within Daniel is convulsing, forming visible bumps at the surface of his skin that disappear and reappear periodically. A trail of blood trickles down Daniel's chin.

Painfully raising his arm, Noe puts his palm over the small of Daniel's back.

"Daniel," Noe whispers. 

Electricity prickles through Daniel yet robs him of the ability to open his mouth. Willing his lethargic limbs to move, Daniel weakly nods and waves at Noe. 

I'm... I'll be okay, Daniel speaks into Noe's head.

I'll make it so, Noe returns.
