"Coffee is fine," Amethyst answered but she wasn't looking at her and was simply playing with her hand.

Slate gave a nod towards Aaron who was looking at him.

"Could you be?" Aaron asked seeing as the talk wasn't starting yet.

"I am her fiance," Slate answered without hesitation.

Diana and Aaron was seriously shock to hear this.

Though they did remember this man came twice to Amethyst's rescue back when they were taking her by force.

First was in the hospital on their first meeting after so long and the second was when they chanced upon her outside their home, early in the morning.

They subconsciously looked at her hands and saw the finger sitting on her finger.

"So you are engage now," Diana commented.

"I am," Amethyst answered.

It was bland and without the excitement that should be there when telling your parents.
