章節 558: Grand Birthday Party

Fu Ling who didn't need to be told about inviting his partner for the grand party did so. He invited Xiulan over for the party. He didn't let her spend her money on her outfit, instead, he hired a stylist to get her ready for the day.

It was a way of rewarding her for her efforts.

Xiulan was beginning to feel uncomfortable with her role as Fu Ling's 'girlfriend' because she was starting to have real feelings for him and it hurt that she couldn't tell him and it didn't look like he cared.

Being reminded of the party she had to attend the next day, Xiulan who was given a day off used it to sort her feelings and emotions in order to remain sane throughout the whole celebration the next day.

Back at the Fu residence which was bustling with activities, Jasmine who had not let her mother take a break for the entire day came to pull her away from the kitchen.

"Mummy, I want to pee!" Jasmine shouted as she ran into the very busy kitchen.
