章節 127: ~ 127: A Witness - Part 2 ~

"Halldora¹," murmured the man in black as my eyes watered returning to my place.

For a second the whisper of mentioning the item that poisoned me reminded me of Lucas. It had a small tear fall down the bridge of my nose as I was reminded of him and Aidan. Funnily, both the men seated beside me seemed to look like him.

'What is this?' I asked myself, feeling my heart turn heavy as I closed my eyes. 'Is this their past selves that reincarnated in my world? Why do I feel so sick?'

I clutched my heart and coughed harder than before opening my eyes to see the people in front of me.  The king just gazed at me with wide eyes before anger etched his whole demeanour. The other man had his narrowed eyes on me. From the slits between my eyes, I could see the rage behind it along with the clenched jaw.

Why was he angry at me? Didn't I escape successfully?
