章節 21: Chapter 20 Perfume

The door opened with a sickening creak, something that alarmed me as soon as it had happened. The door had never creaked before.

My dad was looking at me nervously, and I had the urge to smile and tell him not to worry. That urge was crushed by the fact that nothing seemed to be all right, and that the blood on the house was dripping down my forehead.

I closed the door behind me without looking to see what was inside. I was afraid that if I chose to look in, Id be too scared to turn back.

Under my hesitant, soft footsteps, there were loud crunching noises. I glanced down at my feet, only to be horrified at the sight.

The small bones of tiny animalsthe majority of which, I guessed, were ratswere littered on Antons floor. Attached to each bone were a little string and a note.

Whoever did this certainly wanted to scare the crap out of Anton. The thought flitted through my mind, followed by another, similar thought. They must have really hated Anton.
