章節 15: Chapter 14 Bitter Words

Big Sur Bakery was the coziest spot to be on a cold, Northern California day. It was also, as I had discovered earlier, the place where the friendliest rogues hung out.

An hour or so after the death of the prisoner, I made my way over to the bakery so that I could rant to Samantha about the events of the day.

I knew he was known for being cold, and I know that I was bound to see his bad side one day. I just didnt expect that to be so soon. You know what I mean?

Samantha was sitting down across from me a brown, wooden chair. She had just gotten off of work, so I caught her at the right time.

She nodded at my statement. Yeah, I know what youre saying. But I think youre wrong. I dont think you really saw his bad side, in fact, I know you didnt. Trust me, if you were someone else, he would have behaved a lot differently.
