It was a beautiful, sunny, spring day. The perfect day to get married.

And I was getting married. To Vincenzo.

I stared at my reflection in the floor-length mirror, standing on the small podium as Beatrice and a few other maids fixed my veil and the long trail of my white wedding gown. I don't think I've ever looked this beautiful before, I was glowing and despite the nervous butterflies, I was beyond happy that I could practically cry.

After 400 years, I can finally be happy.

"You look beautiful, dear," Beatrice stated from behind me and I smiled wider than I already was, clutching onto the colourful bouquet in my hands. I looked beautiful.

I never would have thought that I'd fall in love, let alone get married to a man as wonderful and handsome as Vince but here we were.
