Drake had never been a people person, and yet here he was, attempting to persuade men of his just cause. His brother's cause. The Draconian cause. But, what was his cause? If only he had known.

Two weeks had passed since he left Hope at the Springwood Forest hunting lodge. He couldn't stop thinking about her. Her cherry lips on his, her soft arms wrapped around him, her silky skin under his fingertips.

Instead of being with her, Drake traveled far and wide, even in the middle of nowhere, an accurate description for Sofron province. Dirty faces surmounted the crowd and Drake asked himself if any of these people would be able to fight. How many of them knew how to hold a sword in their hands? None, probably.
