章節 57: The Golden Dragon

Hope needed to stand up for herself, both literally and metaphorically. No one would hold her in high regard if she couldn't stand on her own feet. The voice of the Golden Dragon was still inside her head. 'I am you!'

Even if she wasn't able to lift her head high, she raised it proudly. "You were me! Not anymore!"

In order to regain her ability to move, Hope decided to bet everything on the possibility of the floor being a living creature. She placed her hands on the sticky, cold surface, closed her eyes, and tried to connect.

The first thing Hope saw after closing her eyes was a colossal shell. Its construction was unique in all the animal kingdoms from her perspective. It was basically symmetrical, coiled to one side of the creature's body. The outside of the shell was covered in organic skin, which seemed to protect it against certain threats.
