 "Are you sure that's enough? Can't you heal her just a bit more?" Selena asked as they finished putting the salve on.

 Serenity looked at her with an exhausted expression; "You were Just scared into stabby-mode by her like twenty minutes ago! Will you stop nitpicking and help me get the kids down, please? We need to go! Their parents are probably freaking out! And did you forget that the guys are fighting a war right now?!"

 Selena frowned at Serenity; "Well when you put it that way.. Kids? Come, please? Your parents are waiting!"

 A few came down right away, but three tried to stay up on the baby Kraken's shoulders. It took the baby herself to get the kids down. She wound up lowering them with her tentacles, then petted them like they had been doing to her.

 They laughed about it and petted her as she petted them. It was a far cry from the scene nearly half an hour ago..
