Secretary Peter was dressed in casual clothes. After ordering some brandy from the waiter, he smiled and said to Locke, "His Majesty mentioned you today! He said that he'd like to see you again if there's a chance. Come with me to the palace tomorrow?"
This old man was really well-informed.
Not only did he know that Locke had come to the Heavenly City, he even knew that Locke was at the bar.
Locke did not mind. He shrugged and said, "Maybe next time. His Majesty is too busy with work. I can't disturb him..."
Locke did not like the atmosphere in the palace that was too ritualistic.
Peter nodded slightly. "We have something that we want to entrust to you. I didn't expect you to come! That's good too. It's better to communicate in person than over the phone!"
Locke raised his eyebrows warily, squinting at the old fox.
During the incident in Wind City, Locke had vaguely suspected that the royal family was behind it.
