I wanted to explode and scream at the top of my lungs. Lisandro went too far, and I couldn't believe it.

Without wavering, he had managed to insult me as a woman. I knew I am not a pure and innocent woman, but it is not right to underestimate anyone who's unfortunate.

My heart couldn't bear the disappointments he had caused. Tears continued flowing and I don't care if my eyes get swollen.

I didn't know why. But it made me sad and brokenhearted.

"Jeez, such a jerk!" I exclaimed, smirking, and wiping off my nose. "I shouldn't reject Brooke's offer in the first place! It's still a good, stable job for me."

Lisandro wasn't a type of man who would say all those things. Yet, my expectations almost killed me. He was serious and the way he spoke evil things about me broke my soul literally.
