As the days passed, the stares became less, the rumors died down, the whispers eventually stopped, until it was a normal quiet day in school again. 

No special incident or big mishaps happened in school. Just a quiet and boring day at school as usual. 

Chloe had not grown over the fact that I was living with her. 

It's not like I've wrapped my head around it either.

But with each passing day, I tend to learn that maybe, just maybe, my life has turned for the better.

Chloe has Spanish class, and I have recess. I didn't have anything to do. The other students had already gathered in small groups discussing.

I should make more friends.

I sighed and walked out of class. I didn't have anywhere to go, so I just walked anywhere. 

Until my legs took me to the stairs leading to the roof. 

It seems the school had really taken matters into their hands, because the stairs leading to the roof was sealed.
