Multiple days passed after their encounter with Vector, and things had gotten no better.
"Is Hugo back yet?" Ruki asked, looking around for him.
She wasn't actually using her eyes but instead trying to sense his presence. It was easy if he was within her range, considering his large energy signature. But she couldn't sense him anywhere.
Alpha2 and Iron Alchemist shook their heads and sighed. Hugo hadn't been seen since his fight with Vector. They had called everyone who he might have gone to, but no one seemed to know where he went.
'This can't be happening again. The only time I can't sense him is if he's in another region entirely or something else. The last time it happened was when the Judgement emerged. You left us for four years. Please don't do it again…'
Ruki sobbed inwardly and looked at the sky beyond the transparent glass.
'With all this power I have, it still feels like I'm nothing but a liability.'
