The days had gone by with the drama getting heated with each day. The royal family were getting tensed with one another.

The desert king being torn between both his daughters found it hard to decide what to do about the fights that went on in the palace.

While all this was happening they all failed to realize that the blood moon festival had began. No one was in the mood to celebrate, not even Valeria could find a reason to be happy.

Today of all days she had sent her son to the belly of the beast and now sat in waiting to see if he will succeed or not. In some parts of her she felt like a bad mother for using her child in this way but it was the only option she had.

Everything else was going according to plan except for the part that involved her son. It was the only that she was unsure would be successful.
