I stood up and picked the phone up from Nico's hand, as if by impulse and repulsion with the way Mr. Bernards wanted to manipulate everyone. They weren't even considering making the band debut together in the first place.

Why was he even trying to cage everyone just because of his daughter's own stupidity and selfishness?

"Mr. Bernards this is Elizabeth Jennings, you and I met earlier this afternoon," I began, "I don't think it is right of you to control the boys' relationships and freedom. Have you ever given them the assurance that you will see their career when this thing is over for Missy Cath?"

The others were shocked that I actually grabbed the phone away from Nico, their eyes bulging out from the sockets.

Nico surely looked like he wants to rip his hair off with what I just told Mr. Bernards. His gray eyes were screaming, and in the end, he really did say, "Are you crazy, Lizzie? Give me back my phone this instant!"
