Diana's P. O. V
It had been exactly five minutes since I stepped into school grounds, and the place was flooded with nostalgic moments in my head. Students were busy beside each of their lockers, chatting like usual and filling the air with so much life.
"Coach has this welcome speech thing I have to get to. So catch you later." Luca said to me, bringing me back to reality.
"You promised to do it for me." I reminded him, making a pouting face to get him to help me out.
"Coach isn't going to take that from me, you understand my dilemma. Worse of all, am the captain, that's even more reasons why I should be the first one there." Luca had promised to check the list for the advanced students at the main dashboard.
But now his duties as captain is definitely going to outweigh his friend duties.
"Fine...go!. Live your athletic life." I deadpanned, there really wasn't much of a choice.
