Darla dropped the bag in front of me, and stood along with the others who were helping to search the house. Winter suddenly seemed very upset and worried, I knew all too well that I had won.

"You wanted evidence right detective?. Here." I announced, bending down to open the bag. Winter made a move to stop me, but Darla was quick to hold her back.

I hated drama more than anything, but it seemed like my girlfriend had started to rub off on me. This rush of being wrong or right was such a high. It was equivalent to the sensation I got when smoking cigarettes.

I spread the black bag apart for everyone to see what was inside. "This belongs to you am I right?." I asked, taking out the wads of cash inside the bag.

Cole froze on the spot, still taking in the amount of money that I was pulling out of the bag. Sure the money wasn't eye-opening or anything, but the fact that it was there was something to think about.
