Unlike the part of the building that they had just come from, the room that presented to them looked similar to the wilderness that they had been used to. It was by no means as huge as the outside world had been nor were there any enormous trees planted inside. There was however grass, shrubs, flowers, and an arrange of shorter trees along with rocks and bumps that were coming to the wild. The smell was even different. No wonder Jeff had warned about feeling the desire to shift.
"What is this place?" Callum and Keith asked at the same time, awe in their voices as they looked around at everything in front of them. It looked to good to be real.
"I guess you could call it a little slice of paradise for those who are stuck in the world around humans." Jeff suggested pleased that they seemed to really like what they were seeing. It was a project that he and Chester had been working on for quite a while after all and he would've been rather disappointed if it didn't achieve the current reaction that he was seeing.
Even Apryl was surprised by what she was seeing. Everything reminded her so much of the wild home that she had left that it actually caused her to feel sick to her stomach from missing it. And her father as well.. That was something though that she couldn't think too much about.
"Is this place really safe from people?" She asked looking at Jeff, she unlike Callum and Keith who were already intent on exploring was still standing on the edge of the small paradise.
"One hundred percent safe. It's completely sound proof and no one way for humans to see inside since it is underground and the only way to even glimpse inside is with the passcode that only myself and Chester know right now." Jeff assured her, the two werewolves had been very careful when they were planning all of this as they truly wanted it to be a safe place for other werewolves to come to when they needed a break from the human world.
"The top part is just a guise hide this. Humans won't be allowed to use the upper rooms either of course. Just werewolves who don't mind staying in their human form but need some place nearby to stay.
"How exactly would that work?" April asked as she watched the other two werewolves chattering with each other over how excited with everything that they were seeing.
"Because the hotel is based upon reservation only and we've already come up with a matrix to use when it comes to the book process that will help determine if the applicant is human or one of us." Chester replied, that was the piece he had been working on since he didn't have the physical skills that Jeff had to put all the bigger pieces together.
"Still a bit of a work in progress, but since your family will be coming here to stay for a while from what I understand, we won't be opening up to the rest of the public for a while until everything is settled down." Jeff clarified as well. Making this deal meant putting off the original timeframe that he had wanted to work with, but he couldn't turn down one of their kind that as in need.
"We can talk more about this afterwards though, why don't you join the others and get a better feel for what the place is like?" Jeff suggested as Apryl glanced back over to where Keith and Callum had been only to see that they were completely outsight now. How big exactly was this place? She wondered in internally as she gave a small nod of her head before she ventured further into the room.
If she hadn't physically just walked into this place, she would've had a hard time believing that it was located inside a building of all places. It looked and smelled too real for it to be stuck in such an enclosed space.
The female werewolf wasn't quite ready to shift back into her wolf form, but she was happy to take off her shoes and socks so that she could enjoy the feeling of the grass on her feet. It had been a long time since she had experienced that feeling.
She didn't savor that feeling long before something that sounded like running water caught her attention. Was she imagining it or did they somehow managed to figure out how to get running water into this place as well? If they did, this would very well become one of her favorite places to stay. So far she couldn't see any reason why her mother would object to being moved to this place considering how amazing and potential safe it seemed to be.
It took her a few moments of navigating the oversized room, or perhaps it just felt oversized by the way that it had been organized before she came across the source of the water. Jeff had indeed somehow managed to get a running source of water in the room in the shape of a pound with water trickling down some carefully arranged rocks. It wasn't that huge compared to the ones that she was used to, but certainly large enough for her to soak in it like she used to do.
Her attention was drawn away from it by a sudden unexpected noise that came from her left, she didn't have much of a chance to react before something pounced onto her. She flinched slightly even though the impact was much softer than she had expected it to be as she hit the floor.
Opening her eyes she came face to face with a rather large white and sliver wolf pinning her to the floor, tongue lolling out of the side of it's mouth as it looked at her with expectant eyes. She wasn't quite sure what it wanted, but the current position made her feel rather uncomfortable even though it didn't seem that the creature standing over her wanted to do her any harm.
