Veronica was surprised that Arthur was on good terms with the children. It was her first time experiencing this. She smiled at the pretty girl. "Hello there, how do you do?"

The girl covered her mouth. She could hardly contain her surprise and elation. "Oh my! You got married! That's wonderful!" She held Veronica's hands and shook them eagerly. "Miss, you are super beautiful. I've never seen a red-haired girl with short hair. Your hair is pretty!"

Veronica chuckled. She was embarrassed at the same time. "Thank you! I love your blonde hair too."

"Thank you." Angela giggled bashfully. Her face flushed. "I'm going to tell my mother. She would love to meet you. Enjoy the food." After that, she quickly dashed inside.

Veronica was amused by her reaction. "She's a charming girl, isn't she?"
