章節 149: Their Hopeless Feelings

Christian was weary from the time since Mia was waiting for him. His mother called for an urgent meeting and he couldn't text her. 

He just sighed and looked at the time. It was 9 in the evening, their call time was 6 pm. He didn't know why the meeting ended up being so long. 

"Okay, that's all for today. Thank you for attending the urgent meeting so as the CEO, let's have some dinner at our restaurant." Mrs. Park announced.

Christian silently walked out of the meeting room while her mother was busy entertaining the board members. 

He walked down and straight to the parking lot. He drove faster and it took only 10 minutes to get to her coffee shop. 

However, it was closed. He assumed that she went home. He groaned in frustration from being careless. He just bought some food and drove to her apartment. 

He took a deep breath and pressed the doorbell button. After a while, she opened the door with her eyes widened. 

"C-Christian?"
