Chance needed to go back to New York as soon as possible since his manager had an announcement for the writing competition. 

However, Brenda stopped him from leaving and barged into their mansion. Now, she was sitting on his bed, crossing her arms and legs and glaring at him. 

"Why are you here? You just barge here like you're my older brothers. What do you need?" He asked while packing his bag. 

"Well, have you heard about Jean's public divorce right?" 

"Yes… and?" 

"My gut instinct warned me about this guy. You know Jean likes Aly for a very long time and now, I think he was taking the opportunity to date her." She explained and threw herself on the bed. 

Chance halted from packing his clothes and couldn't move. Alyssum was available to anyone and dated whoever she wanted since she was single.

And he wasn't part of her life anymore because his idiocy made them apart.
