King Rian mumbled something about water demigods being hard to deal with before he focused his gaze on Jasmine. She felt uncomfortable with the way he was eyeing her and only relaxed a little when she realized that he was scanning her body for possible injuries. He seemed to sigh in relief when he saw that there was only a slight scar, which was pretty much faded, on her leg. "I'm glad you are alright, Jasmine."
"Me too." She forced a smile. She still thought he was acting odd, especially towards Dairon.
"How has your training been?" He asked, and she knew what this was about almost immediately.
She maintained an indifferent expression. "It's alright."
He contemplated for a while before he nodded and looked like he was at a loss and did not like what had to be done either. "I will assign you another trainer."
"I don't think that's necessary. Lord Sinos is sufficient." She countered.
