~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: The Jedi Temple, Coruscant)~~~
Eassa and I land on the old landing pads of the Jedi Temple. Satele and Nella landed a little bit before we did, and they're making their way over to us. As I stand next to Eassa, I feel her hand in the middle of my back and runs it up.
Before she reaches the back of my neck, she pulls away and takes a stoic stance. Arms folded behind her back and waiting for Satele.
"We can talk more about it when we're alone."
She only smiles as the words leave my lips, and I guess that could be considered a good thing for her. I won't lie. Even now, I'm attracted to Eassa. If there was anyone that I'd like to try things with, it'd be her. We've already done some of the tame activities when we were younger.
Nella and Satele stop in front of us, and my old Master smiles at me. Then she places a hand on top of Nella's head.
"You've got a wonderful Padawan here. You're doing a good job of teaching her."
I'm a little surprised to hear that coming from Satele. But I guess that's something I shouldn't be surprised by anymore. She's changed over the course of the last year.
Before I can say anything, another ship lands, and I sense it's someone familiar to me. Familiar with Satele, as well. I watch as Theron comes out of the ship and makes his way toward us. He doesn't look happy he's here, but I guess talking now is a good time.
"I don't have much time left on Coruscant. So I came here to meet you instead. If all you do mind, I'd like to talk with Nathen alone."
They all look at me, wondering if I'm okay with that. I give a single nod, and they start walking toward an entrance to the old temple. Then stopping and waiting for me to finish talking with Theron.
I fold my arms and look at the man. The last time we spoke, it ended on neutral terms. He's been busy with spy work, and I've been busy with... Force God stuff...
"I'll admit, I'm glad to see you're alive and well. Even if Satele has a hard time dealing with her feelings for you, I know she'd be devastated if anything happened to you."
The male Shan standing across from me looks in the direction of his mother, and I can see that he's let go of some of the pain. It's a good thing. I also sense something within Theron. It's The Force. Unmistakeable. I don't know if he can use it, but it's there.
He's grown stronger in The Force since we last met. It was barely recognizable then, but now. It's not that hard for me to find. Maybe he had Force Powers all along and just needed some help.
"I'm not here to talk about my mother. I told you that I had information for you. I've learned something that is troubling. Everything is on this datapad. Next chance you get, read it. I don't have time to talk to you about it. That ship is gone."
He hands me an encrypted datapad, and I place it on my belt's magnet. I can sense there is something else he wishes to ask me. But he's too nervous.
"Go ahead, Theron. I'm sure what you're about to tell me is what I think it is."
His eyes slowly widen just a bit. And he looks around with a slight sense of uncertainty. There have been times in the past when people who the Jedi reject for not being Force Sensitive actually are. Theron is one of them. I can feel it.
"Listen... I've been having strange dreams and knowing things before they happen. What's going on with me?"
I start walking toward the edge of the landing pad, and I look toward the flowing traffic of Coruscant in the distance. Theron follows and stands next to me. His unease is growing with every passing second.
"Latent Force Powers coming to the surface. It's not as uncommon as people believe. The Jedi have accidentally sent away Force Sensitives before thinking they're not. You're one of them, Theron. I felt it on Ord Mantell, and I feel it stronger now."
There is great turmoil in him. This shows this is a different universe from The Old Republic I know. It varies in different areas. For example, Theron actually being Force Sensitive.
The only explanation is that I exist. I wonder how Satele will feel about all this. But ultimately, it's up to Theron if he wants to do anything about it.
