章節 57: Jedi Council Meeting

~~~(POV: Satele Shan)~~~
~~~(Location: Tython, Council Chambers)~~~

My trip back has been one of the worst times of my life... I had no idea how much it would hurt seeing Nathan again, and he's changed so much... The innocent and sweet little kid that I watched grow up in these very walls is gone. Devoured by the one that stands in his place... His power has grown exponentially, and it's caused problems galaxy-wide.

His alliance and unification of the Hutts prove that there isn't anything out of his reach. Everything except the Sith Emperor... It goes to show how strong the Emperor is... Hiding and avoiding the foresight and power that Nathan has... The only benefit that we gain from this is we now know that the Sith Emperor fears something.

He fears Nathan, and he's terrified of being found by him. That speaks volumes of Nathans power in the end too. "Grandmaster, what are your thoughts?" Master Gnost-Dural's voice echos in my head as I'm brought back to reality. I was not even listening to the topic that was being discussed, and my eyes glide around the table. Everyone saw that I wasn't listening.

A deep sigh releases from my chest and through my mouth. "You'll have to forgive me, everyone... I've had a harder time than I thought I would regarding my old padawan... Please, restart and let's discuss what our next steps are." My fellow Jedi Masters nod with understanding and sympathy. Some of the Masters here have lost padawans too...

Gnost-Dural looks back at the hologram at the center of the table, and a planet appears. One is covered in ice, and it has massive spots of land that are jungle-like. "This is Bellsavis, our Republic prison world. Meant to keep the most dangerous of our enemies at bay." This is a point of interest for both sides of the war, mainly from what's buried beneath the surface.

Bellsavis holds an ancient civilization's secrets. The Rakatan Empire can tip the balance in this war with the technology they've left behind. The Empire looks to be thinking the same thing. "As you can see, Darth Marr of The Dark Council has shown a keen interest in the world. I say we must reinforce it." That's what I'd say too.

Darth Marr is a Sith that's few and far between the ones I've fought in my life. He's known to be the second or third most powerful Sith in the Sith empire. His only contender on the Dark Council is Darth Jadus. The Sith Emperor is the only one that can probably kill either of those two, besides Nathan, of course. This is concerning.

Darth Marr is a genius in everything he does, and he never makes a move that doesn't have a purpose behind it. "We can divert some of the forces on Quesh and send them to Bellsavis, and we can also take some troops occupying Coruscant. All our other fronts are needed where they are." My suggestion gets the rest of the Master's thinking.

Working together is what's brought us this far in this war against the Sith Empire, and it's what we'll use to see the end of it. "Quesh is too important due to the unique elements it has on its surface and subsurface. We can conscript more soldiers..." Another Master, Urla Morvea, speaks up. She's correct about that. Sometimes we have to make a sacrifice in one place to win in another.

~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Tatooine)~~~

It will be about a month before my fleet made by the Hutt Cartel is ready and here. In that time, I can go to places within war-torn systems and figure out weaknesses in the Empire. My first stop should be Balmorra. I've heard great things about the weapons-producing world, and I'd love to have some of their tech on my ships.

I'll be having an unmanned fleet, using The Force to control everything from my Dreadnaught. "Nathan... I don't want you to go..." I hear a voice out of nowhere, and it sounds just like my mother. I turn in the direction and see no one there... I'm getting sick of this... Voices of my dead loved ones calling out to me... It happens more often than I'd care to admit.

My chair creaks as I take a seat, and I grip my head. My mind flashes to see my parent's dead bodies. My childhood home groans and cracks as my emotions spiral. I gain control the second after I lose it. There isn't a day that goes by without me missing them. My father and mother... Clutching each other and dying in one another's arms... A new rumbling starts up at the thought...
