章節 92: Major Changes

In Ben's Universal Plane he was desperately fighting to keep the balance of all six Elemental Halos with sheer willpower. He had no idea how the hell a giant crystal was able to break into his Universe. He could only lean on one of the theories saying that a Spellcaster is most vulnerable when attempting a breakthrough or having an enlightenment.

After fighting for God knows how long, he couldn't any longer. At the corner of the room various elemental particles wove round the lying Ben with sweat soaking his robe. Good thing his robe could self clean. Even his mentor, mentor Belti had pour in a large amount of Mindpower into Ben when he realized Ben wouldn't be able to keep things in check.

This was a very dangerous method that could cause a very disastrous aftereffect. Ben didn't know about this but would welcome any helping hand.

When he felt the fresh Mindpower pouring in he utilized it. This was the same as sharing Mindpower to perform an environmental scan, and like so, such method didn't last for long. Mentor Belti was trying all he could but after eight days of continuously pumping Mindpower, he could no long go on. His hope was fading away.

Just as both Ben and his mentor were at their last string an unimaginable gush of energy surged into every pore, vein, muscle, and every fiber of his being, the energy came from that giant white crystal that sat at the centre of all six Halos. It blasted out in a ring like form hitting all Halos, but it didn't destroy them. It made all elements yield.

Ben frantically absorbed the immense energy not to waste it. Little did he know that energy blast had knocked everything in his room to the wall, that includes his mentor, a mage, Belti.

Struggling to stand after an energy of unknown source burst out of Ben, mentor Belti was even all the more confused because the things that have been happening recently could no longer be put under logic.

First being a Friend of lightning was okay to say the least, but the strange phenomenons after then was another story, like it is said, 'strange'.

After the strange phenomenons, him sensing and seeing with his every eyes the Fire and Ice element in Ben completely left him mute, being shell shocked wouldn't describe what he felt in words. It's like all his eighty years of wizardry had been turned upside down in front of this boy. And from his experience he could tell both elements has been there even before Ben came to The Phantom. Let's not even talk about that overbearing pressure that nearly crushed him, a mage, to paste that came from a boy who hadn't even reached twenty.

"Who are you?" mentor Belti mumbled.

Ben's body became blazing hot to be able to influence the temperature of the room, increasing it to a few dozen degrees. His face was flushed red. The energy the white crystal had sent into Ben was just terrifying to say. If it were any other person he or she wouldn't be able to handle the astronomical energy for a minute before exploding to ashes.

Ben, after many more unknown time has gone he had no other way to put any more energy in his body. He knew he was running out of options.

[Extensive amount of energy found, do you want to concert energy?]Lucy's robotic that had emotion to it resounded within Ben's head.

'Yes!' Ben shouted in his head but it came out as a groan through his mouth.

[What type of energy do you wish the extensive amount of energy to be converted to?] Lucy asked again. Ben almost cried.

'What are the options?' hastily Ben asked.

[Extensive energy can be converted to reform the body's skeletal system, respiratory system, internal organs. Can be converted into Mindpower, however, it will lead to damage of your foundation. Can be converted into a repair energy source for my damaged functions. These are all the most basic and essential general means, do you want me to be specific?]

'No! Use 30% to temper my body, 20% to fill and strengthen all Halos, 25% to strengthen my Universal Plane, 20% for your repairs then 15% to forcefully increase my Mindpower.'

Right after giving the command he started to think if a super computer should be able to do such a thing like converting energy, that didn't matter to him any more because he could feel his body that was about to burst calm after he gave the command. Immediately he could feel the pressure slowly withdrawing but it wasn't fast. Slowly and steadily Ben's body was going under a transformation.

If his body was like that of an infant, now it could be compared to the finest Elven jade. His hair became ever more smooth like silk, but if observed from different sides and angles one could see a variety of colours reflecting here and there, ranging from red, blue, golden, cyan, purple and silver, while at the tip of his hair was white. It was really a sight to behold.

Forty-two days has passed since Ben had been in a comatose state in his room and today was the day he finally woke up. As his eyelids parted golden splendor was released but they quickly faded as though it never happened. His eyes... His eyeballs were completely spotless without a vein tainting it. His purple iris became filled with even more grandeur as though the stars themselves were within. His eyes were shining with total brilliance barred of any blemish.

Looking around his environment he realized he was in his room. He could tell someone must have regularly come to clean him up while he was in a coma. After some time though it became useless because Ben's body was becoming much more spotless than when they last left him.

He looked around and found the black rock on his bedside table instead of under his bed. It's veins pulsing brightly than it used to. He tucked it under his bed. Knowing that questions would rain down on him once he leaves the room, nevertheless, he wouldn't and couldn't stay inside forever so he left.

"Ben! You're awake." Pudding screamed at the top of her lungs immediately she saw Ben appear after a flash faded and crashed heavily onto him.

"Whoa, Pudding, did you get heavier? I can barely stand." Ben said smiling while he still stood like an ox.

"Humph, what do you mean heavier? I'm weightless." Pudding protested with a pout.

"Ben, you're awake!" both Sonia and Ricky came afterwards, they were glad to see him.

"Of course I'm awake guys, I never died, you know?" Ben rolled his eyes but still had a smiled.

"Whoa, Ben! What happened to your hair? It's..." Ricky asked with his mouth held open and eyes bulging out.

"Don't... don't tell me I became bald!" Ben replied with a terror stricken face. Wow his acting was good.

"No silly, it's different... changing. Did you always have that white stain at the end?." Ricky said amazed by the ever changing colours appearing.

"Ben, you have to tell me, what have you been applying to your skin? You're more... handsome." Sonia said the last part almost in a whisper, her face turning slight shade of pink. If she applies what Ben applies to his skin, would she be more beautiful too? definitely. She thought.

"Don't even think of taking me for your experiments, I won't let you!" Ben playfully flung his hands in defense while moving back.

"Awn, tell us what happened to you? Mentor Belti brought you back here in a coma, what happened? I was really worried." Pudding asked with a frown.

"Lemme sit for a..." Ben led the trio towards the sitting area just as they were about to sit a rather raspy voice was heard.

"Ben, I want you in my office, now." mentor Belti spoke.

"Hah, guys. Maybe next time, mentor's calling." Ben sighed and went to the door that goes up to the mentor's floor, after a white flash Ben disappeared.
