The group saw Ben going to help Sye and didn't say anything. They had the right to be wary of him. Or do they?
A demon helping you doesn't turn him into an angel, they are still and always remain demons! One way or another they will destroy you.
Cush didn't mind the two and instead walked towards the door and placed his wide hands on the large wooden double doors then gave a hard push. Because of being closed for so long it was difficult to open. Stirring his elemental seed within him, he became filled with energy. Stagnant air rushed out of the building, disheveling their clothes and hair.
"Finally. We're in." Cush sighed.
The interior was covered by dust over one inch thick. Pieces of art, paintings, wears, vases were so luxurious they just couldn't miss out on them. The group were all tempted by these ancient tempting objects but did not touch them. These weren't the real treasure.
"Okay people, within an hour you are allowed to go wherever you want to get what you can. We will all come back here when we're done, so be quick." Cush instructed them to go and find their own fortune.
"Ben why don't you follow us? I think we can work better if we're together." Evelyn side when they were parting ways.
"Thanks but I want to take a look around by myself, there'll be no need to trouble yourself because of me."
"Then come with me, I might need your help to carry some things."
"Cush, you have three portal bags, why would you need my help? Anyway, I'll only be slowing you down with me."
Both Cush and Evelyn weren't pleased that Ben didn't follow them. They didn't want Ben to stay with them, they just didn't want him to be with Sye behind their backs. Who knows what Sye would do to him?
"Are you sure?" Zoe asked.
"It's alright guys I can take care of myself."
Ben decided to go alone, Evelyn and Zoe went together. Cush would have gone with Sye as they did things together, but after finding out Sye knew Blood Magic he left on his own. Now only Ben and Sye were left in the long dark corridor. The illuminating stones held by Zoe and Cush disappeared after going their separate ways.
Ben created a spark of flame to float on his hand to illuminate the place then closed his eyes to feel where that calling is coming from only to be distracted.
"I always knew you were different boy." Sye spoke.
"What do you mean?" Ben confusingly asked.
"Don't play dumb boy, everyone is staying away from me but not you. I don't know if that is ignorance or plain stupidity."
"I just think that their judgement after so long is wrong, that's all." Ben shrug.
"Can you tell me something?" asked Sye.
"What?"
"Why did you stand up for me? Any other person would have killed me on the spot considering your skills."
"I just felt it's the right thing to do." after giving his question some thoughts he answered. Without waiting he took one direction and started heading there.
"Wait," Sye called back, with a sigh he took out a silver coloured ring and put it on, with a flip of his hand a black book appeared on his hand.
Ben has his mouth wide open. Blood Magic users were still wizards after all. For a wizard to use a spatial ring doesn't that mean he is a Second-level Spellcaster? That would mean Sye's a Second-level Blood Magic wizard. If that's the case, doesn't that mean all what Cush, Zoe and Evelyn did was considered useless. They literally stood no chance against Sye if he was to attack them.
"Hehe, you didn't expect that now did you." Sye laughed at Ben's face. "I think this would be the right thing to do on my side then. This was left behind by my grandmaster, it will be put to better use if it is in your hands instead. Only I and my grandmaster studied Blood Magic, my master didn't, said he didn't like the sight of blood. Hmm, since we only practice Dark and Black magic a lot of it are in there. You can't find any other place with the highest darkness-type magic than what is presently in your hands." Ben with shaky hands took the book. He knew without a doubt that the things inside this book would be invaluable.
"Thank you." Ben said.
"I must warn Ben, if any of the spell models isn't compatible with you don't ever create their spell models at all." advised Sye in a very stern voice.
"I'll keep note of that." Ben as a noble man said with a deep bow.
"I'll be going then. Till fate brings us back." Sye turned and headed into one corridor before stopping to say. "Oh, and Ben, you know how Blood Magic wizards are treated, I know you're smart. Still, I'll like to see you bringing Blood Magic to the open society." Sye practically faded as his words faded leaving Ben in the lonely corridor.
Ben doesn't go anywhere and stood there. He was trying to sense and let that 'thing' calling for him to lead him to it. After some time he opened his eyes and walked to the eastern part of the house. He saw a few vases, murals and many more along the way.
"I guess Anna and her mom would like these." picking up a few beautiful pieces he carefully placed them in his spatial ring.
That tugging feeling was getting so strong that he felt like he was going to get sick from it. He was brought in front of a nicely decorated wooden door. Ben didn't mind the decorations but where he is at. This part of an aristocratic family's house was always reserved for the young miss. The door's decorations truly do look like one owned by a young miss. But seriously?!?
Ben pushed the door and was greeted with a very neat and well furnished room. Everything was eye catching but Ben's eyes froze at the canopy bed at the centre of the large room that looks smaller than the space in his ring.
There, on the veiled canopy which was completely see-through was a body, a naked body of a girl not older than he himself. Hey skin was fair and looked smooth like a pearl. The girl also had perfect curves at the right places.
Ben moved round the bed to look at the face of the girl. He could see she has oval face with a small nose and small pink lips. This is what one would call a Sleeping Beauty. How can such a beautiful girl still be in such a... a place? Ben thought.
While Ben was thinking he suddenly realized the girl on the bed looked awfully familiar to him. Coming much closer, he looked at her one more time from her face down. On reaching to her neck he felt his heart skip a beat.
Round her neck was a necklace with a medallion of half a heart.
"Matilda," Ben said in a soft voice. "this can't be right, but then this is clearly the other half of the necklace Matilda had. She can't possibly have any connections with the Badlands, right?"
As Ben kept thinking on it he heard a very melodious tone in his mind. "That thing is calling, but where? It has brought me to this room, yet all I see is a naked body, or is it telling me to do something to the girl? Well I wouldn't have minded if she wasn't in such a place. There's nothing here," he thought to himself.
Not knowing what to do for now, he decided to go through the books he saw on a bookshelf. He read the topics on the spine without taking them out. There were a lot, reading the topics, one was a story of the Seven Magic Gods, another about the history of the Badlands.
He didn't care to open them at all, instead he simply touched every book and sent them to his spatial ring. He, of course took only the books that seemed interesting to him. He did this till he saw one book with the title 'MY DIARY' on the spine. He pulled the book out of curiosity, instead it triggered a mechanism. The walls beside the canopy bed to the right opened.
"I am thinking you like keeping your memory instead of writing them." Ben chuckled and for a moment he thought he saw a smile on the girls face, but it quickly reverted back to normal. "huh?"
Walking through the open wall, there was a tunnel with stairs descending. Ben slowly and cautiously followed the calling coming from within the tunnel. He lit and tongue of flame that allowed him to see in the dark tunnel.
Ben got stopped before an iron door, The iron for only had a lock, a very weird lock. It consists of the shape of a heart that is broken from the centre, top to bottom, dividing it.
"Don't tell me she really does have a connection with the Badlands." Ben could feel a headache coming.
Making his way back up he looked at the bed only to see the body facing him with her hand holding her head up. Hey posture was completely captivating and breathtaking, hey hair was spread all over the pillow she lied on the bed in a sexy and tempting way.
Ben was forced to swallow a mouthful of saliva. Any man wouldn't be able to resist such a tempting beauty presenting herself to him willingly. Raising her free hand she crooked a finger at him daring him to come to her on the bed.
Ben took a step forward. He could smell a very enticing aroma in the bedroom. Ben was currently not far away from the canopy bed. His breathing was ragged and rough, his eyes unsteady. Anyone who saw him like this would without a doubt say he is in a state of arousal.
However, in his Universal Plane a large mass of black smog was spreading rapidly around his Universe. Many celestial bodies were submerged with the black smog destroying his last bit of consciousness.
Everything in his Universal Plane was collapsing yet in the real world he kept on moving towards the bed. The speed of which things were happening in his Universal plane and the real world were like Heaven and Earth.
Destruction in his Universal Plane was happening in manner of seconds but it took him more than ten minutes to walk fifteen metres across the huge room.
"Warning! Warning! Unknown energy detected! Unknown energy detected! Damage intake: eighty percent per second. Initiate Vacuum Sequence! Vacuum Sequence will devour every and any force that is a threat to the Universal Plane. Vacuum Sequence Initiated." alarms were blaring in bend head yet he couldn't hear the warnings from Lucy and the step it took.
Fact trivia: Werewolves, vampires, dwarves etc. All know a certain type of magic. Werewolves surprisingly have Healing magic.
