章節 25: 25 Hallucinations

In the blink of an eye five days has passed. The group were now exhausted from the the days continuous killing. They had bumped into stronger servant class demon creatures asking the way. They found a clearing and starting seeing camp.

"According to the map this area belongs to both the Cardinal Head Spider and the Giant Blood Fox. As long as we don't go into their territory to disturb them there shouldn't be any problem staying here. There aren't any other demon creatures in the vicinity too, so we're good." Kate was their informat and explained their current position.

After their continuous slaughter they received a lot of injuries while facing a pack of Wolfmonkeys. These type of creatures hardly move individually but in a pack. The least amount of numbers in a pack of Wolfmonkeys could differ from 18 to 30 in total. Unfortunately for Ben's group they stumbled into a pack with more than 30 Wolfmonkeys in the pack. Kate, Vanessa and Bob were gravely injured.

"The protection barrier the training instructor gave us is really incredible, too bad most of us are injured and some can't contribute energy to the barrier." Jeremy was in charge of the safety with the protection barrier of the group.

This was why they didn't mind having watchmen to stay guard on their first night. Yet never would they have thought that such an incident would have happened in their first day in the woods. Ever since then they always did a full night patrol. Only on their fourth night did they decide to use it and it had helped them a lot.

"We'll head out to get things we would need, since you three are injured Parker, you'll go get some fresh water, Jeremy you'll get the woods along with Mia, Ben you'll do the hunting as usual. I'll stay to guard the rest till you all return, it shouldn't take up to an hour, okay?" They all agreed to Flash's arrangement and went to do their assigned duty.

Mia and Jeremy both headed the same way too get some dry wood. Since they are deep in the woods, to get a dry enough stick will be quite tricky and hard. Ben was the only one who didn't have much of a problem since he's in the deeper parts of the mountain, to get Redflaming rabbits won't be an issue at all. With both existence like the Cardinal Head Spider and the Giant Blood Fox no other creature of their level would dare set foot in their territory. At the Same time no creatures higher than these two creatures would be interested in taking over a territory of a lower being than they are, they aim for higher heights.

"Damn it, why am I the one to get the water and not Ben? Humph, thinking he's all cool with the girls looking up to him, what does he have that I don't? I have an elemental seed and he doesn't, so what is it that makes him better?" Parker was really getting frustrated with the way things have been going for the past couple of days. Not wanting to admit to himself what he had notice, Ben have been able to take care of himself better than they who had elemental seeds.

Walking towards the direction of the closest pond that was located in the map. It took him fifteen minutes to reach the pond. The pond was calm with a bit of mud around it, the moon's brilliance shone directly on the pond accompanied by the bright twinkling stars around it. The night breeze was cool as it blew above the tranquil pond.

Parker found the pond and noticed it was clean enough to clean and treat the wounds of others. Carefully scouting the area in case of any potential treat despite the place looking so serene and safe. Rounding the pond twice from inside the forest he didn't see anything out of the ordinary. With a leather pouch at hand he left the woods for the pond.

Parker stood at the edge of the pond in bewilderment, never had he seen a pond so crystal clear before. He bent down then dipped the leather pouch into the pond. While waiting for the pouch to fill he kept his mind busy jumping from one thought to another, then lastly he started imagining Vanessa nude.

"Ouch, fucking mosquitoes."

Two clear slapping sounds resounded when Parker suddenly felt two sharp pains on his ankle and wrist at the same time, sure of killing what bit him. His face twisted when he felt whatever it was that bit him on his ankle bigger than a mosquito, not minding for now he proceeded to kill the one on his wrist. Taking a closer look he was even angrier and disgusted.

"Spiders! I hate spiders!" Parker yelled and stood up now the leather pouch is filled up "Damn that Ben, I've been eyeing Vanessa for a long time but now she's falling for him, I can't let this happen... Mmm, if only I can get my hands on those round, round boobs of hers, I bet they'll be squishy while I squeeze them to diiffe..." Parker began imagining lewd thoughts about Vanessa again. "...hah, I let my imaginations run wild again. Come on little Parker let's head back to the camp." Parker shoved the idea of him and Vanessa to the back of his head but with much difficulty. Unknown to Parker am unknown numbers of eerily red eyes surfaced from beneath the pond then dived back. Looks like it will be waiting for a good show to start.

Jeremy for the past ten minutes had been trying to flirt with Mia while they were both out looking for firewood, however, all along she has been giving him a cold shoulder with no words to reply. It's been a while when he had a 'talk' with Mia, he now knows where to and where not to go. He felt since Ben was able to have a talk with her why shouldn't he?

"This is the first time seeing you outside your castle." after trying to impress her with his strength and behavior that didn't work he stopped and decided to just talk. He wasn't expecting a response anyway.

"What castle?" the first words she spoke was followed by a frown. She originally never wanted to put up a conversation with this idiot but what he said gave her an idea. A lot of people talk behind her back and she wasn't dumb to not know. The words 'ice castle' was a frequent, heck even Vanessa knew this term but didn't want to say what it meant. Thankfully, since someone is so eager to 'talk' with her she could use this opportunity to know what this ice castle means.

When Jeremy heard her questions he was delighted. He honestly didn't believe she was going to talk anyway that was why he chose this line of discussion knowing it would arouse her. This is where he makes a huge mistake since this topic was never meant to be spoken directly to Mia.

Hesitating for a while he wanted to but didn't want to. Backing down now will make all the effort he's put in just to make her talk to go to waste. He got her to talk to him, if he does this he might as well have a normal conversation and when they get closer to each other then they'll be able to... let's start with the conversation first shall we. "Well... ice castle, ice castle, how do I explain. okay uhm, it... uh, it is you. The way you do things, you know, and you are always cold to the people trying to approach... "

Before he could finish Mia interrupted him "So you're saying I was cold when you tried 'approaching' me last year?" Mia asked emotionless.

"...That, that was my mistake and I use this opportunity to apologize. However, no, not like how I tried to take advantage of you. Mia there are a lot of people who wish to be friends with you. The are people who like you because of your good looks, but that's not the case... you're just pushing everyone away and also not allowing anyone to be your friend or even around you. That's why the name 'princess in the ice castle' came up, it was gotten from your innate ability." Jeremy tried saying each word as softly as he could, trying not to sound too hurting and damage the perfect chance to get to talk to her more purely. A few seconds passed followed by a minute, then two, yet no words left her mouth as she just stood there comprehending Jeremy's words. "We need to look for more wood, I think there are some I found not far from here." noticing she wasn't going to respond soon Jeremy decided to head out himself.

Parker arrived close to the camp site and walked in. He was able to get the water with ease without having to bump into any demon creatures, you could say he was in luck. "Flash, I got the water!" Parker looked around but didn't see Flash. So he just went over to where Bob and the rest laid dropping the keg.

Bob amongst the three was the most injured and in a very bad condition. When they encountered the pack of Wolfmonkeys he received a sneak attack from behind him leaving him in a critical state. Between Vanessa and Kate, Vanessa was in a much better shape compared to Kate who isn't an elemental swordswoman. Even with the injuries Vanessa was still awake.

"He went to check outside the barrier for any signs of demon creature. He'll be back." said Vanessa.

Parker walk closer to where Vanessa was placed amongst the three and placed the keg beside her and sat there. He sat there looking at Vanessa's towering chest or more like drooling at it. Vanessa began feeling a burning sensation on her chest, she raised her head to look for the source only to find Parker drooling at her chest. Unbridled anger raged in her chest making her chest ascend and descend rapidly, little did she know that her actions had unleashed a beast.

Parker's eyes had turned red as he is trying hard to hold himself, however, Vanessa's rapidly moving chest made his mind to go wild. He could no longer hold himself. He was looking at Vanessa as though she was completely naked and waited to be devoured by the rage she's provoked. He stood up from the log and walked towards her slowly. This time her anger was backed by fear, because having a single man and woman all alone in a lonely area of the woods, things could happen.

"Parker, what are you doing?" get voice obviously shaking in fear.

"Vanessa, you of all people should know my feelings towards you, but, not only do you choose to not give me any face, you went ahead to fall for that loser Ben. I will just have to enjoy what is rightfully mine, that's all." immediately his words left his mouth he jumped onto Vanessa like a hungry wolf about to slaughter. He grabbed for her chest.

Vanessa cannot believe what she heard or what was happening, nevertheless she acted fairly quickly. Because of her wounds she wasn't fast enough to move away from his reach. Being faster Parker ripped open her shirt, exposing large amount of tender flesh inside a fiery red bra. What little rationality that was left had been obliterated in Parker's head.

"Parker! What are you doing!?!?" now there was no more fear, she was terror-stricken. Never in her wildest imaginations would she believe she was going to lose her virginity in the middle of nowhere in the mountains with someone who isn't her husband nonetheless. Right now she was really weak. The only thing she could do now was to do what every weak little girl should do. Scream.
